Its all about the racing
2023 Local Racing Events.
At Topbike we have always loved racing, and for the 2023 season we have boosted our sponsorship of local events. The Vic MTB series is one, and with the first race in Forrest, back in December, our 11yo daughter Betty decided she wanted to race (I swear we didn’t push her). So now, we have the whole family racing the series, which culminates with the Vic Championship race this coming Saturday, in Ballarat.
Our main photo here is of Betty, and while I’m sure she does have a race-face somewhere, as long as she enjoys it, it’s good enough for us. Two weeks later, we’ll all be racing National MTB Champs in Thredbo – where I raced my first ever nationals back in 1992. Followed by our Women’s race, and the Otway Odyssey.

We’ve been sponsoring the Hanging Rock Handicap since its inception (one of our clients started it) and it’s a womens only race, that just keeps growing and growing. Feb 18 is the date for ’23.

This year we are a Silver Sponsor of the 2022-2023 Victorian Mountain Bike series, and two other big races that happen to start in Forrest, The Otway Odyssey (since 2007) and the Dirty Warny, which had it’s first edition in 2022.
